In Islam, there is the ultimate guide of attitude and conducts given by Allah through his messenger Nabi Muhammad S.A.W in which we are as Muslims obliged to put it to the highest honor, it's the Quran and Sunnah. So Harris, my advice, is to always stick to Al-Quran and the Sunnah, because Islam will always provide you an ideal balance between worldly life and also the akhirah.
